Data we use
- When a team member connects a TikTok account: the account's display name and identifier (open ID), and the access tokens issued by TikTok.
- When a team member connects Facebook, Instagram or YouTube: the page, account or channel names and identifiers, and the access tokens issued by these platforms.
- The videos, captions and publishing settings (visibility, comments, Duet, Stitch, commercial content disclosure) that the team chooses for each post.
Tripin Studio does not collect data about TikTok viewers or other TikTok users, does not sell or share any data, and does not use it for advertising.
Why we use it
- To show which account a video will be posted to.
- To upload the videos the team has reviewed and approved, at the time the team has chosen, with the settings the team has chosen.
- To check that a post has been published.
Where it is stored
Tripin Studio runs on the team's own Mac. Access tokens are stored in the macOS Keychain of that computer; videos and captions stay on that computer until they are sent to the platform chosen by the team. Data is only sent to TikTok, Meta and Google through their official APIs. For Instagram posts scheduled while the computer may be off, a relay hosted by Cloudflare keeps the post identifier and, only until it is published, the Facebook Page token needed to publish it; it never receives videos or any TikTok data, and forgets finished posts after one week (carousel images after ten days).
Retention and deletion
Tokens are kept until the account is disconnected in Tripin Studio (Publications › Ton et comptes › Déconnecter), which deletes them from the Keychain. You can also revoke Tripin Studio's access at any time from your TikTok settings (Security › Manage app permissions). For any request about your data, write to tripin.village@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
